Alaska might not seem like it is on the culinary roadmap, but for us it the center of all things fresh and wild
We have gardens at all three of our lodges, we work with farmers from the Matanuska Valley in the summertime to buy their produce, and we purchase fish from local vendors in Homer.
We preserve jams and jellies from the abundant variety of summertime berries available, we harvest seaweed and other edible wild herbs and greens. We enjoy weaving local products together with the best of ingredients we source from other Pacific coast and global places.
