Lodge Comparison

A snapshot comparison of our Alaska backcountry lodge activities and seasons of operation

You might visit one or more of our three remote lodges during your visit to Alaska. Our exclusive lodges are all located within Southcentral Alaska and are accessed from Anchorage, our gateway city, in about one hour of travel time in most instances.

  • Winterlake Lodge offers helicopter-supported adventures, sportfishing, rafting and hiking the Iditarod Trail.
  • Tutka Bay Lodge is situated on Kachemak Bay, one of the richest ocean estuaries in the world. See maritime wildlife, kayak, sportfish and hike in Kachemak Bay State Park.
  • Redoubt Bay Lodge, on the west side of Cook Inlet, is home all summer to a resident grizzly bear population. The lodge serves as our gateway to Lake Clark National Park adventures.

Decide on our destinations by adventure activity, culinary interest, spa and wellness programs, or geography of ocean or mountain.
