Spicy Dipping Sauce for Fried Oysters
Recipe type: Sauce
Makes ½ cup dipping sauce.
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
  • 1 roasted red bell pepper, seeded, peeled and minced
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Sriracha hot sauce to taste (we used 2 teaspoons)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  1. Add the garlic and red bell pepper together in a food processor. Pulse until the two are well blended.
  2. With the machine running, add in the mayonnaise and drizzle in the olive oil and sesame oil to blend.
  3. Remove the sauce from the food processor bowl. Add in as much Sriracha sauce as you prefer. Season with salt and pepper if necessary.
