Tutka Bay Lodge offers complimentary adventure activities for our full-service guests. Each day, our manager creates a daily activities sheet that can be followed as a guideline or personalized with your guide.
Exploration
- Watch sea otters dive for urchins & clams.
- Discover sea stars, anemones, chitons and mussels at low tide.
- Watch for whales, sea lions, porpoises and seals.
- Walk our private two-mile trail through old-growth forest
- Learn to kayak in the cove
- Visit a pre-historic midden of refuse left by early Kachemak Bay inhabitants.
- Feed the frilled anemones in our anemone garden under the lodge dock.
Fishing
- Fish for greenling, cod and flatfish off the lodge dock.
