  • We highly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance. Due to our remoteness and short-season, we can not offer refunds for changes or cancellations due to weather.
  • Prices do not include fishing licenses (available for purchase at the lodge)
  • Child rates are offered for children 12 years and under.
  • Additional helicopters and excursions are available for purchase.
  • Gratuities are at your discretion.

  • Please consider allotting plenty time for connecting national and international flights. We require a minimum of three hours of layover in Anchorage. Feel free to inquire if you have questions during your booking process and we can help you organize the best option.

Reservations & Payment

To join us Within the Wild Alaska, we request a 50% deposit to confirm your reservation. Balance is due 90 days prior to your arrival at the lodge.

Within the Wild Alaska Adventure Company COVID-19 cancellation policies

 For International Travelers:

On January 21’st, 2021, President Biden issued a proclamation to limit travel into the US from certain countries, including the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and the European Schengen Area. The purpose of this proclamation is to prevent the spread of COVID-19 variants globally.

The proclamation will be reviewed (and potentially renewed) every 30 days as necessary. Below Is the White House briefing on the border closures.

Within the Wild Alaska Adventure Company understands the unique challenges this is placing on travel to the U.S. and Alaska in the moment. We have many guests coming from these countries that are concerned about travel into 2021. But we are hopeful restrictions will be lifted shortly.

In light of concern, we are offering the following:

  1. Please keep your plans to visit us and your reservations intact. As we draw closer to the 60-day prior to travel mark, if the bans have not been lifted, we will refund your deposit.
  2. If you prefer to cancel now, we offer you the option to have 50% of your deposit refunded, 50% forfeited.
  3. You are always able to move your reservations to a future date without penalty or increase in package pricing.
  4. You are always able to transfer your package to friends or family without penalty or increase in package pricing.

For Domestic Travelers:

The State of Alaska requires out-of-state travelers to arrive with a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of start of travel. Proof of this will need to be shown at the airport and at any subsequent air carriers used between lodges (Rust’s Flying Service, for example).

Travel Insurance: Within the Wild does not provide refunds for travel delays or cancellations – including outcamp excursions – due to weather or illness or non-compliance of Covid-19 mandates. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Our reservations office can give those resources.
