You can make reservations with your preferred travel agent or by contacting our Anchorage office directly by phone or email.
Our Anchorage-based office manager can help you select a lodge or multi-lodge package that suits your travel plans. Our company encourages custom itinerary planning.
Considerations
- We highly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance. Due to our remoteness and short-season, we cannot offer refunds for changes or cancellations due to weather.
- Prices do not include fishing licenses (available for purchase at the lodge)
- Child rates are offered for children 12 years and under.
- Additional helicopters and excursions are available for purchase.
- Gratuities are at your discretion.
- We request all guests to be fully vaccinated and able to present vaccination cards prior to arrival.
- All of our staff are fully vaccinated.
- Please consider allotting plenty time for connecting national and international flights. We require a minimum of three hours of layover in Anchorage. Feel free to inquire if you have questions during your booking process and we can help you organize the best option.
- Within The Wild can not be held responsible for missed flights.
- Please take a look at our suggested packing list, there are limited items available for purchase at the lodge.
Reservations & Payment
To join us Within the Wild Alaska, we request a 50% deposit to confirm your reservation. Balance is due 90 days prior to your arrival at the lodge.
Within the Wild Alaska Adventure Company understands the unique challenges of travel at the moment.
You are always able to move your reservations to a future date without penalty or increase in package pricing for the same year (increase to current year rate if moved forward).

At present, the State of Alaska has no special travel entry requirements related to COVID-19. However, we recommend you check the frequently updated State of Alaska traveler COVID protocol found here: State of Alaska Traveler Information.
Travel Insurance: Within the Wild does not provide refunds for travel delays or cancellations – including out-camp excursions – due to weather or illness or non-compliance of Covid-19 mandates. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. Our reservations office can give those resources.
